Performance Driverpak rebuild kit for 1966-79 Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3, Thing, and Bus Type 1 engines. Includes Empi 98-1333-B GTV-2 cylinder heads featuring 56cc combustion chambers, larger 40mm x 35mm stainless valves, single hi-rev valve springs and chromoly retainer hardware. Cylinder heads use 12mm 3/4 inch reach spark plugs. Driverpak kit also includes 90.5mm cast pistons & cylinders, steel pushrod tubes, and Elring gasket kit.

Note: 90.5mm cylinders require your case to be machined to fit the cylinders. The performance heads in this kit are machined to fit 90.5mm/92mm cylinders. This builds a final engine size of 1776cc.

When replacing heads, cylinders, camshafts, or other critical engine components a thorough pre-assembly blueprint should to be done to calculate head CC, chamber volume, deck height, compression ratio, valve clearance, and cam timing.
