Empi 16-9517-0 oil return adapter adds a full flow oil return option to a dual relief VW Type 1 or Type 3 engine case without machining the oil galley. Screws into the rear by-pass oil galley (remove OE spring and plunger) and provides a return oil route from a full flow oil pump cover. Can install with engine in the vehicle. Alternate part numbers 16-9517, 16-9517-0, 1695170.
Has an 8AN 37-degree male fitting.
