Scat 5.5 inch long 4340 I-beam style connecting rod set for VW Journal Type 1. These I-beam rods are made from 4340 steel alloy and use strong 3/8 inch ARP2000 rod bolts.
VW Journal fits standard 2.165in or 55mm VW Type 1 crankshaft rod journals and use a 22mm wrist pin.
Rod weight is approximately 580g each (total weight depends on batch). Rods are end balanced and matched to +/- 1g.
Tech Tip: We recommend 5.5 inch or 139.7mm rod length for midsize stroker builds. This is a great match for 78-86mm stroke crankshaft paired with stroker pistons.
