These rubber inserts fit in the sides of the late square cage style shift coupler that connects the shifter rod to the transmission shifter input shaft. When these are worn out or cracked your shifter will have sloppy play in all directions. Replaces original OE numbers 311711233, 311-711-233, 311711239, 311711243, 311798211.
