This kit includes a 96-06 Jetta Manual trans TDI starter and fits onto VW Type 1 Beetle, 3-Rib, or 5-Rib 002 Bus transaxle bellhousing for dune buggies with hi compression or more powerful engines.
Beetle and split window bus requires body/pan modification to clear starter post.
This fits a 2-3/4 inch bell housing flange to starter flange distance. Measure if you are not sure.
